2014
  • We will be participating in the 2013 Calgary Co-op Kitchen Theatre program on Friday July 8th at 11:30 pm in BMO Centre at the Calgary Stampede grounds demonstrating a turkey teriyaki.
  • In conjunction with Poplar Bluff, Cam's Carrots and Heritage Harvest, we will be participating in 'Come Visit the Farm', a local organic farm tour on Sunday August 17th.  Tickets are available at Community Natural Foods and Sunnyside Natural Market.  For more details, contact Organic Alberta 587-521-2400 or http://www.organicalberta.org/events.
  • We are partnered with MacEwan Meats for the REAP’s annual ‘Food for Thought’ on September 28th from 1:00-4:00 pm at Hotel Arts, 119-12th Ave SW.  The event showcases local producers and businesses that promote healthy, sustainable food buying choices and gives consumers an opportunity to learn about these products. Restaurants and retailers work together to create bite sized food samples . For $31 you receive samples from 20 stations and enjoy live music, community displays, workshops for kids aged 3-12 and key note speaker, local economy activist Judy Wicks and more!   • Fresh PRE-ORDERED Thanksgiving turkeys will be available for pick up at the farm from 10 am - 12 noon on Saturday October 11th.
  • Fresh PRE-ORDERED Christmas turkeys will be available for pick up at the farm from 10 am - 12 noon on Tuesday December 23rd.
  • Fresh PRE-ORDERED Thanksgiving turkeys will be available for pick up in the outdoor Farmer's Market area at Hillhurst Sunnyside Community Association at 1320 - 5th Ave NW on Saturday October 11th from 2:00 - 3:30 pm.
  • Fresh PRE-ORDERED Christmas turkeys will be available for pick up in the outdoor Farmer's Market area at Hillhurst Sunnyside Community Association at 1320 - 5th Ave NW on Tuesday December 23rd from 4:00 - 5:00 pm.

  • On Sunday September 15th from 1:00-4:00 pm Slow Food Calgary hosts Feast of the Fields in the beautiful historic garden at Rouge Restaurant, 1240 - 8th Ave SE, a food and wine event that celebrates the local harvest.  We are paired with Executive Chef Kyle Groves and Catch Restaurant and The Oyster Bar.

  • We will be attending the 2012 Calgary Stampede Co-op Kitchen Theatre Presentation, Calgary Co-op Kitchen Theatre in Halls D & E of the BMO Centre at 12:30 on Friday July 13th
